After a walk through the waist high grass on Field 3, the WU league has deemed it not usable. In the interim we will have to make adjustments. So, until the City strike ends we’ll be playing two games every Wednesday night on Field 1. Each game will be timed at 55 minutes. Start time is 6:45 SHARP!
The schedule for Wednesday, July 8:
Field 1 -> Incredible Hucks vs Eh You – 6:45 – 7:40
Field 1 -> Grimace vs Meet the Huckers – 7:45 – 8:30
Field 2 -> U.P.S. vs Blue Steal- untimed
Captains/Co-Captains playing on the Field 1 – you are responsible for moving the game along quickly – line up quickly, pull quickly and have a shorter half time or agree on no half time.

Now that we are moving into the hot weather, here are some tips on how to beat the heat:
- Make sure to take plenty of rest breaks, always stay properly hydrated, and wear lightweight clothing.
- Wear sunscreen & a hat
- Plan to exercise during the early morning or late evening if possible, when the temperatures tend to be cooler.
- If someone shows warning signs of heat illness, get the victim to a shady area right away. Try to cool the victim immediately with a wet cloth, or spray from a cool shower or garden hose. Seek out medical help as soon as possible.

Again if someone has any issues with their photo up on the intertubes, please email the board (contact us section) and point out who you are and in which photo, and we can put something over your beautiful face (photoshopped paper bag?).

Sunday, May 24th, 2009 the first women’s clinic of the 2009 Summer season at Tranby Park. Start time 3pm. This clinic is free.
FIELD CONDITIONS
As many of you know, the city of Windsor workers are on strike right now, this has impacted us via lack of field maintenance (Tranby) and no field setup has yet begun on our new field. The grass maybe a bit long, so something to keep in mind.
