Hey Ulty Players,
Well, the wet weather hasn’t let up so the City of Windsor has closed all sports fields for the weekend, which means our clinics are postponed. When the fields dry, we’ll have to switch to Plan B just like every other sports organization. So, for now, enjoy your weekend, and we’ll get back to you in regards to the new dates for the clinics and the start of the new season. The new dates will also be posted right here at www.windsorultimate.com and on Facebook.
The 2011 Windsor Ultimate Season starts on Wednesday, June 1. We have clinics scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29 at Lakeshore Woods park on Banwell Rd. This is a great time to work out the winter rust or if you’re a beginner, you can learn how to play. Do you have a friend that is undecided? Bring them out, the clinics are free and they can sign up right after.
Register at http://my.windsorultimate.com. We thank you for your patience ahead of time. Our new sign-up site is brand new and I’m sure you’ll find a bug or two. If you do, let us know at info@windsorultimate.com
Here’s an invite from our friends in Ann Arbor for anyone who doesn’t want to attend the clinics.
Hey Windsor,
Your friends in Ann Arbor here! We want to invite you out to our annual Charity Hat Tournament on May 28. For $10, you will get a full day of frisbee on some of our nice fields in the area. After game play is through, we are going to have food, beer, pop for people. And the proceeds go to a charity that helps protect Michigan wildlife areas.
See below for more information, and to register. And tell all your friends that we’d love to have them!
