Captain’s send me your team names (teams, make up those creative team names and email the board). I can then update all the team names. Also NEXT WEEK, everyone MUST be present, as we will be taking TEAM PHOTOS. We got our colorful shirts, now its time to show them off to the world via the intertubes! So show up, or you won’t be in the photo ;)

Cheers!

Please show up early for 6 PM!

Well, if you see this and haven’t signed up, it is now officially too late to register & pay. You can however email us at info@windsorultimate.com, and request to be put on the waiting list. People on the waiting list will NOT be put on teams with friends (teams are already picked and balanced!).

For those of you who HAVE registered, but did not pay, you have by Wednesday to pay, or you we have other people standing by on the waiting list to take your place. Payment options of course are Paypal or check on the field (no cash!).

Strategy – Ultimate Handbook play-by-play guide

As mentioned in the clinic and via newsletter, we will be focusing on two key strategic plays this year (as well as vertical stack). To better understand the dynamics and logistics behind it, I wanted to show people a great Ultimate Frisbee resource — the Ultimate Handbook

Use the links below to get a sense for how zone or horizontal stacking is done:

How to run a Zone defense:
http://www.ultimatehandbook.com/blog/strategy/zone-defence/

How to use a horizontal stack to your advantage during play (note the 3 handlers!):

Feel free to go even further and get more of this strategy into your game, your legs will thank you (less running and better scoring opportunities).
